Splash Car Wash has been in business
since 1981 and represents the epitome of
what a successful car wash should be. Splash
has developed and implemented dynamic,
comprehensive marketing programs that
transcend generational interests. Marketing
programs include coupons, gift cards,
loyalty programs, cross promotions with
local businesses on their Web sites and
a comprehensive fundraising program
that includes training and signage. Splash
effectively utilizes PR in promoting various
events targeted to different communities and
hosts events to raise money for community
causes throughout the year. They also offer
training to their large employee base and
capitalize on their expertise in managing and
marketing car washes by offering their services
to other car wash operators. Splash keeps its
Web site updated, utilizing it effectively. The
company also has a Facebook page. A news
posting on their Web site states, "We here at
Splash are very proud to have been mentioned
in a recent article in the Wall Street Journal.
This piece focused on the value of car wash
brands and service nationwide. Without our
knowledge, the reporters visited four car wash
chains across the country to test their services.
One of the sites they chose was our White
Plains location. We think they liked what they
saw because they wrote, `At $13.99, Splash's
Full Service Wash was the best value of the
washes we tried.' "
