Unitec Electronics Names Pamela Piro Chief
Executive Officer
ELKRIDGE, Maryland (October 4, 2006) - Unitec Electronics
is pleased to announce that Pamela Piro has been
named President/Chief Executive Officer. As a leader
in the car wash industry, Piro’s extensive
marketing and product development management experience
will continue to drive Unitec’s corporate
culture. In addition to her 10 years with Unitec,
Piro’s background includes experience in industrial
and consumer marketing arenas in both domestic and
international markets.
"We have gotten to know Pam very well over
the 10 years that she has worked with us. During
that time she has always kept our customers, our
employees, and her personal ethics at the forefront
of all corporate decisions. Her strong personal
values match the corporate values we strive to fulfill.
Pam is the ideal person to lead Unitec into the
future,” stated Unitec’s co-owner Jeff
Ousborne.
Co-owner Erik Eden added, “We are excited
and look forward to great things with Pam at the
helm.”

Piro joined Unitec in 1996 and in 2000 was promoted
to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In addition,
Piro serves on the Mid-Atlantic Car Wash Association’s
board. Piro has a BA in International Relations
from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an
MS in International Management from Thunderbird,
The Garvin School of International Management.
